CovaminoRap 2.0 is produced using a completely new, unique natural process. Thanks to this unique process, CovaminoRap 2.0 stands out for its high content of rumen-protected protein with maximally metabolisable amino acids in the intestine. Under precisely controlled conditions, the proteins are bound to inverted sugars through a primary Maillard reaction, without the addition of chemicals. The proteins bound in this way are resistant to microbial degradation in the forestomachs of the ruminant and are readily digested enzymatically in the small intestine. As a result, the amino acids and peptides released in the small intestine are optimally absorbed into the bloodstream and used to the full for the formation of milk and body protein.
